Interview with Diana Burke

Diana Burke first came to Skidmore in the fall of 1957 with a position in the Dean of College’s office where she worked as a secretary. Though she took time off during the early 1960s she soon returned to Skidmore in the early 1970s in the Admissions office. In this interview, Mrs. Burke reminisces about her fond memories of working at Skidmore—emphasizing the warm community and camaraderie throughout her 30 plus years here. She discusses key components of Skidmore history from her unique perspective, commenting on integrating men, moving campuses, and more about her personal projects.
