Natalya Lakhtakia is a speech-language pathologist in the Fort Edward School District and a proud NYSUT member. The daughter of immigrants and from a family of educators, she has been on the Saratoga Springs Board of Education since 2019 and has served as board vice-president, and on the finance, audit, policy, superintendent evaluation, DEI, and counseling committees. She is currently serving as board president. She lives in Saratoga Springs with her husband and son. She is active with Capital District DSA, NYS Break the Bonds, and does work with Skidmore’s Education Department to support future educators.
